Day 1: Fly to Kisoro and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Entebbe Airport for the flight to Kisoro. Upon arrival at Kisoro airstrip, you will be met and greeted by our representative, who will brief you on what to expect during the 3-day gorilla trekking adventure. You will then embark on the journey to the home of mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking & Batwa cultural tour

After early breakfast and with a lunch box, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. After briefing, you will enter the forest to search for the gentle giants in thick forest with slippery slopes covered with vegetation and mist. Gorilla trekking is an exhausting activity but sighting the mountain gorillas is fully satisfying. When you meet the mountain gorillas, you will only be permit to spend with an hour and during that hour, please take as many pictures as possible. You will watch the gorillas play, feed, nurture their young ones, an interact. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for relaxation. In the evening, you will go for the Batwa cultural tour and during the cultural tour you will learn more about the ways of life of the Batwa people.

Day 3: Transfer to Kisoro for the flight to Entebbe.

This is the last day of your 3 days gorilla trekking adventure. After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and transfer to Kisoro airstrip for the flight back to Entebbe international airport for your flight to the next destination.
