Volcanoes vs Amboseli vs Masai Mara (A Luxury East African Safari)
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes national park
Welcome to the land of a thousand hills. Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will proceed to the immigration desk to acquire the visa. Afterwards, you will walk to the arrivals to meet your driver guide who will be carrying a placard for easy identification. He will warmly welcome you, help you with your luggage take you to the safari vehicle. He will then transfer you to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes national park
After breakfast, you will checkout of the hotel with the help of your guide and drive to Kigali city center for the city tour. You will visit destinations such as Gisozi genocide museum, Belgium museum, craft markets, local markets among others. After the city tour, you will have lunch and then embark on the 2 hours and 30 minutes journey to Volcanoes national park. Upon arrival, you will check-in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Ibwiwachu
After a tasty early breakfast, you will get into the safari vehicle for the transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Since the time spend during gorilla trekking is unpredictable, we highly advise our clients to carry packed lunch, enough fluids and also hire a porter to assist you carry your back bag. After briefing, you will be allocated a gorilla family and then drive to the starting point of the trek in company of an armed ranger guide.
Gorilla trekking takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. When you locate the gorillas, you will only be allowed to spend with them 1 hour watching them play, feed, nurture their young ones. When you meet the gorillas, take as many pictures as possible for memories.

Day 4: Golden monkey & transfer to Nairobi
Following breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts of golden monkey trekking. After briefing, you will be divided into group and then head to the potato plantations to search for the golden monkeys. After the trek, you will head back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will checkout of the lodge and transfer to Kigali to Nairobi. Upon touching down at Nairobi, you will procced to the arrivals to meet your driver guide who will transfer you to the hotel for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Your Kenya safari starts with breakfast and a very early pick up form your hotel in Nairobi. You will then head to the famous Masai Mara game. You will drive through the sensational landscapes of the great rift valley.
You arrive at Masai mara at around lunch time, check-in at the lodge for lunch and then head for afternoon game drive. During the game drive, you will spot animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs among others.

Day 6: Full day Masai mara
Today dawn will find you in the park and this sight is worthy of its weight in gold when merged with the spectacular Sunrise finds you in the park, a sight worth its weight in gold when combined with the breathtaking views and wildlife species. Morning game drives in Masai Mara are the mostly renown because of morning game drives are the most popular for the overflowing wildlife species and calm atmospheres.
It is easier to catch wildlife, prey and predators Wildlife is easier to catch, and the prey and predator’s doppelgänger for meal of the day because of diminished temperatures. The Big Five, wildebeest, hippos, gazelles, giraffes, impalas, hyenas, zebras, wild dogs, buffaloes among others spread all over the Masai mara plains.
After the morning game drive, you will procced to the designated picnic sites for picnic lunch while enjoying the beautiful views. After lunch, you will procced to the Mara River to checkout the hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife species.

Day 7: Hot airBaloon safari and afternoon game drive
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the starting point of the hot air Baloon safari. Upon arrival, you will have a short briefing about this amazing experience and be astonished observing the hot air balloon. You will be in air for approximately enjoying the hot air Baloon and seeing the animals in the bird’s eye view. You will see animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest migration. On a clear day, you will have an opportunity of seeing the sunrise. Hot air balloon safari gives clients a golden opportunity of having excellent filming and photography. After the hot air Baloon safari, you will have champaign breakfast and head back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
After lunch, you will head back to the mara plains for yet another exciting afternoon game drive. During the game drive, expect to spot animals such as the Big Five, buffaloes, wildebeest, wild dogs, zebras, impalas, hippos, giraffes among others.

Day 8: Transfer to Amboseli national park
Today you will wake up before the birds for the very early and depart Masai mara for Amboseli national park. Along the way, you will see fields and farmlands so feel free t ask the driver to make stopovers along the way for you to admire Kenya’s natural beautiful scenery. You will have another stop over for enroute lunch and refreshments.
You arrive at Amboseli national park in the afternoon and head out for a game drive while getting familiar with the park. An imposing figure of Mt Kilimanjaro stands at the park’s southern boundary. In the afternoon and evening hours, Mt Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak may possibly be seen as a high-altitude cover leaving you with breathtaking panoramaof one of the most inspiring sites in Africa.

Day 9: Full Day Amboseli national park
After an early morning game drive, you will go for a morning game drive to catch a sight of the African dawn. The morning game drive is known for being the most satisfying because in the morning hours, you find almost all animals very energetic, clean and searching for the day’s food in the savannah plains. Before leaving the lodge, you will go with packed lunch. During the course of the daywhen the sun becomes blazing hot, almost all the animals assemble next to the river banks to slake their thirstand refresh. Whereas other animals such as the big catsare seldomly spotted on when the sun is very hot, when the sun sets some animals will turn up. All members of the big five can be spotted at Amboseli throughout the year. This national park plenty of bird specieswith almost 470 species on record of which many are migrants.

Day 10: Transfer to Nairobi for the flight to the next destination
