A Luxury 10 Day Rwanda Gorillas and Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel
Welcome to Rwanda. Upon touching down at Kigali, you will acquire a Rwanda visa at the immigration desk. Afterwards, you will walk to the arrivals to meet your driver guide. He will warmly welcome you and then drive you to the hotel for relaxation.

Day 2: City tour and transfer to volcanoes
After breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you to the Kigali city center for the brief city tour. During the city tour, you will visit destinations such as the Gisozi genocide museum, In the morning, Belgium museum, parliament, craft markets and art galleries. Afte the city tour, you will have lunch and then embark on the 2 hours journey to Volcanoes national park.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking & Ibwiwachu cultural tour
After a very early breakfast and with packed lunch, you will head to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. After briefing, you will setoff for gorilla trekking in the Virunga hills of Rwanda. Gorilla trekking takes between 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and their location that day. You will be allowed to spend one hour with these gentle giants watch them play, interact, feed and nurture their young ones. Take as many pictures as possible as you enjoy this once in a lifetime adventure. In the evening, you will go for the Ibwiwachu cultural tour.

Day 4: Golden monkey trekking &boat ride along the twin lakes
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Volcanoes national park for yet another adventurous encounter. Golden monkey trekking ends early in the afternoon. Afterwards, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and freshening up. After lunch, you will be transferred to the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo for the breathtaking boat ride.

Day 5: Transfer to the airport for the flight to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge for the transfer back to Kigali international airport for the flight to Nairobi. Upon touching down at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, our driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for relaxation. If time allows, you will be taken for the Nairobi city tour.

Day 6: Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will checkout of the hotel and transfer to the famous Masai mara game reserve. Masai mara is among the world’s greatest in terms of wildebeest migration. It is also regarded as an unmissable by most clients planning a safari. At around lunch time, you will arrive at the lodge. In the evening at around 4pm, you will go for the first game drive.

Day 7: Masai Mara full day exploration
Arise early with the beautiful sounds of nature and stunning sunrise. You will be in a real wilderness area with unlimited opportunities. Following breakfast, you will get into the safari vehicle for a full day game drive a day to deeply enter the reserve searching for animals such as lions and migratory wildebeest. Seeing them taking the final plunge of the river crossing will be a breathtaking experience. You will have picnic lunch under the shades of acacia trees. You will get back to the lodge on the evening.

Day 8: Second full day Masai mara exploration
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a full day game drive. You can as well opt for a sunrise hot air Baloon safari above the Mara plains accompanied by a champagne breakfast after touching down. Hot air Baloon safari is an exceptional experience where amazing pictures of the migratory herds are put in an aerial view. Alternatively, you can go for a morning and an afternoon game drive having free time in the midmorning to relax.

Day 9: Full day Masai mara
After breakfast, you will have yet another day of exploring the splendid Masai mara national reserve. Today you will spend most of the hours tracing the huge herds of the migration which includes wildebeest, topis, gazelles, zebras among other More hours will be spent following/tracking the location of the big heard of the migration (Which includes the Wildebeest, Zebras, Topis, and Gazelles among other vegetarians.
Today you will have a morning and afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. You can crown your migration viewing with a camp fire.

Day 10: Transfer to Nairobi for the flight to the next destination.
After breakfast, you will depart Masai mara for Nairobi with enroute game viewing and lunch. Upon arriving at Nairobi, you will head straight to Jomo Kenyata international airport for the flight to the next destination.
