Detailed Itinerary: 7-Day Wildebeest Migration Safari Package
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Arusha.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will proceed to the immigration desk to acquire your Tanzania visa. Afterwards, you will meet your driver guide at arrivals. He will be carrying a placard bearing your name for easy identification. You will get into the safari vehicle for the 1-hour-and-30-minute drive to Arusha.

Day 2: Fly to Serengeti national park (Kogatende)
Have breakfast and then transfer to airport for the morning flight to Kogatende airstrip. Upon arrival at the airstrip, the driver guide will transfer you to the lodge of your choice for lunch. After lunch, you will be taken an afternoon gamed rive along the mara river and here you will witness the migratory animals crossing the Mara River.

Day 3: Full day game drive (Great migration focus)
Following breakfast, you will go for yet another exciting game drive. Today, you will have a golden opportunity of witnessing the wildebeest gathering together with crocodiles and other predators getting ready to cross the Mara River. Hoping for the migration to begin! After picnic lunch, you will proceed with the game drive until evening. Eventually, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day game drive (Great migration focus)
After an early breakfast, you will follow the wildebeest migration do an exploration on the spacious of Serengeti and the route will take you northwest. You will have picnic lunch and continue with the major highlight of the game drive which is the mara river. You will spot herds of migratory animals crossing the mara river. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 5: Full-Day Serengeti Migration
Have breakfast and then start on a full day game drive to trace the wildebeest and zebra herds movement. Watch out for the mechanisms of the wildebeest migration inclusive of the prey-predator interactions, river seasonal crossings, together with the enormous herds transferring across the plains. You will have breaks to appreciate the beautiful scenery, wildlife photography and enjoy picnic lunch in the wild. Serengeti national park offers spectacular landscapes that transform with the seasons, offering bondless nature photography opportunities.

Day 6: Hot air balloon and afternoon game drive
Wake up early and have breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the to the starting point of hot air balloon. During the hot air balloon safari, you will experience a thrilling scenery over Serengeti national park. You will be amazed by the breathtaking sunrise and watch wildlife from above. After the amazing balloon ride experience, you will enjoy the champagne breakfast in the wilderness. You will spend the remaining hours of the day enjoying the game drive.

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at leisure and with packed lunch, you will leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro conservation area. Our professional and knowledgeable driver guide will share knowledge regarding the wildlife and the beautiful scenery as you transit from Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater. Today you will spend the night at the crater’s edge.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to Arusha
The magnificent views of the sunrise over the edge of the crater are a worthwhile glimpse for dawn enthusiasts. Following heavy breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you down the venturesome track into the crater. Ngorongoro crater is a UNESCO world heritage size and is among the seven wonders of Africa that boosts one of the most mind-blowing ecosystems. Because of its dense population of animals, the crater stands out as the best place for game viewing Tanzania’s protected areas. Within just few minutes, you will spot the wildebeest, zebras, gazelle, elephants, bird species among others. After the game drive, you will be transferred to Arusha.
